Mod Review Process

All mods on the HITMODS platform are reviewed by site moderators and admins before they are made available to the public.

Why review mods?

To prevent spam, abuse, and other malicious content, we check all mods before we show them to the public.

How long does it take to be reviewed?

Usually, it takes a day or two to be reviewed. In some cases, we might need a bit more time, or even less for simple mods.

What if my mod is rejected?

As long as you've followed the rules, your mod probably won't be rejected. If we do reject your mod, we'll let you know exactly why, and we'll let you re-submit it after addressing any issues.

Does every mod have to be reviewed?

Some people on the site have the Trusted Modder role, which gives them the ability to skip the review process. This role is only available to those who we believe have proved themselves to be curators of high-quality, rule-following mods.
